Rules And Regulations

FEE STRUCTURE REGULATIONS

·     Fees are for twelve-calendar months. Fees once paid are not refundable

·     School fees should be paid before the term begins. In cases where dues are not cleared the name of the defaulter will be removed from the school rolls and re- admission will be granted only on payment of a re-admission fee.

·     Students will not be permitted to appear for the school examinations if their fees are not paid.

·     The tuition fees to be paid as fixed hence no bills are issued. If however there are any additional payments to be made for any special facilities provided this will be intimated to parents by way of a notice.

 

 

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

All students are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner at all times and in all places. The whole-hearted co-operation of parents and guardians is expected at all times in the formation of the character of their children. As the student progresses from the lower to the higher classes, he/she will be given increasing opportunity to shift from conforming to school imposed order to self imposed discipline.

 

A.    DRESS AND APPEARANCE

·      All students must come to school wearing the prescribed uniform.

·      All students must wear the school tie at all times.

·      Failure to comply with the school's uniform regulations may result in a student being sent home.


B.    BEHAVIOUR

·      Every pupil must possess a copy of the School calendar and it should be brought to school daily. Personal cleanliness and hygiene is expected from all.

·      Running, playing and shouting inside the school building is forbidden.

·      Disrespect and disobedience to teachers / supervisors, use of abusive words and any kind of misbehaviour will be met with serious punishment.

·      Ornaments in any form, other than small earrings (for girls) should not be worn.

·      All books should be neatly maintained throughout the year. They should be neatly covered with brown paper and labelled.

·      Bringing and eating chewing gum, chocolate and taking other intoxicants in the school premises is strictly forbidden.

·      No books, (other than text books or library books) magazines etc. may be brought to the school.

·      All school leaders must be given due respect.

·      Normally, no student is allowed out of the class during the class hours to drink water or go to the toilet. This should be done only during the break.

·      Cell phones, Walkman sets, video games and any such items are not permitted to be brought to school.


C.   SCHOOL PROPERTY

·      Care should be taken in keeping the school clean times. Litter must be disposed off in the dustbins provided.

·      Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or Spoil the desks or chairs or damage are school furniture write or draw anything on the walls or in an way damage things belonging to others. Damage done eve by accident, should be reported at once to the class teacher. Any damage done Will be made good by the one who does it.

·      Each class Wit be responsible for looking after the property in the class -room. 

 

D.   ATTENDANCE

·      Students must be regular to school and present in school 10 minutes before the Assembly commences.

·      All students must be present for all the tests, examinations and extra - curricular activities.

·      Irregular attendance is sufficient reason for the dismissal of a student.

·      No student may leave the school premises except by special permission of the Principal .

 

E.    LEAVE OF ABSENCE

·      Anyone who is late or has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without the permission of the Coordinator.

·      In all cases of the absence, the parent I guardian is expected to make an early in the record section of the Students Dairy.

·      Absence on medical ground should be supported by a Medical Certificate.

·      Prior sanction should be sought from the Principal through a written application for any absences exceeding 3 days.

·      Students who have been absent from School for one month or more without permission are liable to have their names Struck off the rolls and may not be re-admitted.

·      Students suffering from contagious diseases must stay away from school.


F.    DUTIES OF A STUDENT

We are what we repeatedly do.

·      Excellence, then, if not an act, but a habit"

·      Should strictly adhere to the prescribed dress code of the institution.

·      Should have proper haircuts and should not use any kind of intoxicants and use or bring forbidden items to the school premises.

·      Should always wish the teachers (if seated by standing up; if waling by stopping)

·      Should not play or run inside the school corridor and class rooms or enter other class rooms Class monitors are in charge of the class in the absence of the teachers. Asst. monitors should see to the cleanliness and orderliness of the class.

·      Should not move out of the class until the bell rings for recess, On doing so should move out in a proper line.

·      Should be attentive and responsive in the class.

·      Should submit home works and assignments in time.

·      Dust-bins should be properly utilized. 

·      Should not leave the school campus without prior permission.

·      Should not mutilate or destroy the school property.

·      Pornographic pictures /magazines/comics of any kind is banned Bringing or sending anything by the day-scholars for the boarders is not allowed.

·      The medium of communication inside the school should be English. Use of foul language or regional dialects is prohibited.

·      Should not retort or rebel against teachers

·      Should always flush the toilet with water after using it.

·      If any health disorders should occur during the school hours, it should be reported to the teachers Should bring their own instrument box, pen, pencil, eraser and other necessary learning aids

·      All students are expected to be punctual for every activity and science in their studies.

 

G    IMPORTANT

The school reserves to itself right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their ward.

Immorality, Grave insubordination, contempt of authority Or wilful damage to property is always a sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.


H.   H_NALTIES FOR NON- COMPLIANCE

It is to be noted that the penalties and fines listed below corresponds directly with the rules listed under "Duties of a student” and will be enforced under the discretion of the school authority. 

 

Students should be in full uniform in the school premises falling which

(a) Boarders will be fined ₹ 10/- per day; and will not be allowed to attend classes

(b) Day scholars will be fined ₹ 10/- per day and sent back home.

(c) Manipulation of hair using dyes, gel or fancy hair cuttings etc Wilt be met with a fine of ₹ 50/- and the student(s) hair snipped off during assembly hours.

(d) Use of lipsticks, bangles, finger- rings, ear- rings and makeup will be met with a fine of ₹50/- and the ornaments used will be confiscated.

 

·      Chewing of pan. tabaku, khaini and consumption intoxicating drinks will be met with a fine of - 50/- to 100/- and other punishments and disciplinary action will be meted out as per the gravity of the action.

·      Inattentive and unresponsive students will be made to stand on the bench for the entire period. Students who fail to submit home works and assignments on the time will be compelled to do So during recess and after school hours.

·      Student(s) not utilising the dust-bins properly will be made to clean the whole class manually. Leaving the campus during the school hours will result in a fine of ₹ 100/- for day- scholars and ₹ 500/- for boarders.

·      Scribbling on the walls, desks, benches and destruction of school property will result in a fine of ₹200/- and the student concerned will be responsible for its restoration.

·      Pornographic pictures/ magazines/ comics of any kind will be confiscated and burned and the student will be fined ₹ 100/-

·      Day-scholars acting as agents for boarders in any form or manner will be fined ₹50/- per act and other punishments will be meted out.

·      Intentional use of languages (Regional / Foul) other than English will be fined ₹ 5/- on every occasion.

·      Rebellious attitude by showing resentment or retorting by a student against a teacher is to be punished by the teacher concerned in the class itself and the matter reported to the school authorities.

·      Failure of a student to properly clean the toilet with water after use will result in the student being compelled to clean the toilets.

·      Students without instrument box, pen, pencil and other learning aids will be back home and asked to return with the same.

·      The school authorities reserve the right to change or add other pecuniary fines and disciplinary actions against its inmates.
